Jewel One outlet opens its doors in city

Coimbatore-based Emerald Jewel Industry has opened its Jewel One store in the city. Actor Shruti Haasan inaugurated the outlet on Crosscut Road on Wednesday.

Locations

According to a press release issued here by the company, Jewel One outlets are already functional at Puducherry, Kallakurichi, and Karur.

By the end of March this year, nearly 15 standalone Jewel One showrooms will be functional.

K. Srinivasan, Managing Director of Emerald Jewel, has said in the release that the company had manufacturing capacity of 24 tonnes of jewellery a year.

It had opted to get into the retail market through its business associates.

The stores would have only the ornaments manufactured by Emerald under the Jewel One brand.

Designs

The customers would have more than 1.5 lakh designs to choose from.

Emerald was supplying jewellery to wholesale buyers and was into exports too.
