Thirty passengers, including 15 women, travelling in a Tamil Nadu State-owned bus, on Saturday suffered minor injuries when it fell into a 20-feet deep gorge near Gudalur, about 80 km from Uthagamandalam, police said.
The bus, coming from Gundlupet in Karnataka was proceeding to Mettupalayam near Coimbatore, when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and it fell into the gorge.
Locals rescued the victims and got them admitted to the Government Hospital at Gudalur, where they were treated as out-patients, police said.
