Steps to resolve water crisis

A review meeting by the officials from the Coimbatore Corporation, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board has resolved to take expeditious steps for resolving drinking water supply crisis experienced by residents in the East and North Zones of the Coimbatore Corporation.

Mayor R. Venkatachalam requested the officials to enhance supply to scarcity-hit areas.

TNEB was asked to ensure uninterrupted power supply in Pilloor and Velliangadu.
