Medical check-up for police personnel

The City Police Commissioner, C. Sylendra Babu, on Wednesday launched a medical check up for police personnel in association with PSG Hospitals. Earlier, the police had launched a health check up camp for the recently elevated Special Sub-Inspectors.

Now, a comprehensive health check up camp is being organised for more than 2,300 personnel of the Coimbatore City Police including the staff in establishment section.

The check-up will help the personnel know the condition of their health and plan treatments accordingly.

30 a day

Every day 30 personnel will be checked. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Traffic) N. Kamini and the PSG Hospital Managing Trustee G. Rangaswamy, Chief Executive C.R. Swaminathan, Medical Directors J.S. Bhuvaneswaran and Vimal Kumar Govindan attended the function.
