A 17-year-old girl, studying Plus-One at a private school, near Trichy Road here, was found hanging inside her house on Wednesday reportedly after being sexually harassed by a teacher.
Though her father rushed her to Namakkal Government Hospital, she was declared brought dead.
The police have arrested the teacher.

The police filed a case under section 174 of CRPC (hanging) and charged the accused of instigating her death (IPC 306).
He has been remanded in judicial custody. After conducting preliminary investigations police said that the accused was already married in 2008 and was separated from his wife, due to unknown reasons.
