Karamadai police have registered a case of causing hurt, using obscene language and criminal intimidation against a physical education instructor of a private CBSE syllabus school in Karamadai.
It is learnt that the physical education instructor Mr. C. Sathishkumar, hailing from Dindigul, lined up 24 students of standard IV on December 8 following a complaint from their classmate that her drawing notebook was torn by a student. Mr. Sathishkumar is said to have beaten up the students. On Thursday the agitated parents thronged the school. The school management is said to have feigned ignorance about the incident.
On Friday the parents decided to lodge a complaint with the police.
