The former Pakistan cricket captain, Shoaib Malik, was spotted at the house of tennis star Sania Mirza here on Saturday morning.

His marriage to Sania is scheduled on April 15. Sania's family members, however, chose to remain silent on his visit.

The wedding is likely to take place in Hyderabad. There was speculation in the Pakistani media that the venue may be shifted to Dubai.

Shoaib, who reportedly reached Hyderabad late on Friday night, was spotted standing on the balcony of Sania's house. He was speaking on his cell phone while Sania and her mother stood beside him talking to each other.

The controversy surrounding Shoaib's alleged earlier marriage to local girl Ayesha Siddiqui has been raging in the media in the last couple of days.

Sania's announcement to wed Shoaib also drew flak from various quarters, including the Shiv Sena. Tennis and cricket fans have been posting their views liberally on websites. While some voiced their support for Sania and her choice, others expressed their disappointment with her decision and the subsequent developments.

In reaction to this, the tennis star posted a tweet, thanking all the people, including the media, who have supported her and Shoaib.

“I and my family know what the truth is, we've known it all along and we have confidence in God's justice,” she wrote.

Later in the night, however, Sania's friend Anil Kumar Yadav said there was no change in the venue of the wedding.
