Flight operations at the IGI airport were normal today due to a clear sky, a day after over 50 flights were disrupted due to operational reasons.
"Runway visibility was more than 2000 metres and all flight operations were normal," an airport official said.
Flights operations were hit on Saturday after dense fog and a cable fault in the runway visual range (RVR) measuring equipment led to closure of Delhi airport's two CAT-III B compliant runways and a halt in operations for over eight hours on.

Over 200 domestic and international flights were badly affected causing inconvenience to passengers. About 18 flights were diverted to other cities due to fog.
This resulted in a huge backlog of flights for the airlines which spilled over to Sunday also, forcing the airlines to cancel 15 domestic and international flights.
Over 50 international and domestic flights were delayed yesterday.

The RVR unit stopped functioning early on Saturday morning on the main runway, making it unusable for the CAT-III B operations.
"The Met Department has flown in a new Wi-Fi unit from Pune to replace the faulty unit and efforts were on to set up the system. A new CAT 5 cable to run between the ATC tower and the Met Office was required and would be installed today," Delhi International Aiport Ltd (DIAL) said, adding CAT-III operations was expected to resume today.
