The Mysuru City police have booked a total of 108 vehicle drivers for driving in an inebriated state on Saturday night.
According to a press statement, the City police checked a total of 1,493 vehicles from 8.30 p.m. to midnight on Saturday as part of a special drive against drunken driving.
The driving licenses of persons, who were found driving in a drunken state, were seized and sent to the Transport Department with a recommendation for suspension.
