Three short of 31 goals this season, Suarez is not only gunning for the golden boot, but is also looking to bag the record for maximum goals in a 38-game season.

I'm coming! I'm coming to get you two...

Luis Suarez scored another hat-trick on Saturday, this time against Cardiff. That took his tally for this season to 28.

Previously, when a season constituted 42 games, the record for the maximum number of goals in a season was 34. That record was held by Andrew Cole (Newcastle United, 1993-94) and Alan Shearer (Blackburn Rovers, 1994-95).

Now though, a season is made up of 38 games. The current of record of 31 goals in a season looks to be under threat from Suarez. Do you know who holds the record as of now? Send in your answers to school@thehindu.co.in with your details. [subject: page 8]
