She’s new to the film industry, but has experience in the modelling arena. Shaasna Rose currently has three films in various stages of production. “In Theeya, directed by Devanand (Kaathal Konda Manasu,) I am paired with Jero. In my second film Arasiyalle Idaallam Sagajamappa, directed by Sathya, I am cast as Mano Bala’s daughter and have a very bubbly role. The hero is Ganesh Prasad. My third film, Bhoopathi Maaligai, is a thriller. Directed by Senthil, I am paired with Bharathi. My character is of a very homely girl troubled by ghosts,” states Shaasna Rose.

Love in Madurai?

Puriyatha Anandam Puthithaga Arambam (PAPA) is director Tambi Ibrahim Syed’s first film. But, it is also the producer’s (Rowther Films) first full-fledged romantic film, after having done 37 action-oriented ones. “The story of PAPA is set in Madurai, which has been known for films with action and violence. Singer Krish and Srushti Dange are paired in this love story with a difference. Raihanna has composed very romantic melodies for my film that is scheduled to release on June 5,” says Ibrahim.
