Looks can be deceptive. For Hire, a short film directed by actor Vishnu Raghav, narrates how some people live by hook or crook, leaving us to wonder whether we can trust anyone at all.
The story unfolds over two nights and narrates the tale of four people whose lives get intertwined. The short film is the debut directorial venture of Vishnu, who has acted in the movies Orkut Oru Ormakoot and Theevram . Vishnu, son of still photographer R. Gopalakrishnan, has joined hands with yet another young actor, Anu Mohan, brother of actor Vinu Mohan, for the film.
The duo has scripted and produced the film under the banner Yellow Cover Productions. They also play key roles in the movie. “We acted together in

The other two main characters are played by actors Krishnan Balakrishnan and Kavitha Nair.
The 17-minute short, shot in and around the city, has been inspired by real-life incidents. “The story, written by Jyothish Jayapalan, is based on some incidents that happened in the city,” says Vishnu.
