Actor Vivek Oberoi seems to be back on track as far as his acting career is concerned. The actor has two diametrically opposite roles that he is working on simultaneously. Vivek plays Kaal, the super-powerful antagonist in Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Krrish 3’ and Jayanta Bhai in Kumar Taurani’s ‘Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story.’ ‘Krrish 3’ will see a Diwali 2013 release and director-producer Rakesh Roshan has been quoted as saying that Vivek’s character is as powerful as that of his son Hrithik, who plays the protagonist with super-powers. In contrast, Jayanta Bhai is a local gangster who falls in love with someone whom he least expects to. The romcom will release in October this year.

So, Esha Deol, Hema and Dharmendra’s daughter, got married this past week to diamond merchant Bharat Takhtani. Two dazzling functions – the sangeet and the mehndi – led to an equally grand yet simple temple wedding at ISKCON in Mumbai for the actress. Esha’s half-brothers Sunny and Bobby were conspicuous by the absence while Abhay Deol, who is reportedly close to the new bride, was there throughout each ceremony.

Two months ago, international musician Kuly of RDB passed away after suffering from brain tumour. His family, including father Harjog Singh and brothers Manj and Surj, is now releasing a special song and a memorial video as a tribute. The song titled ‘Yaadan’ (Memories) is written by Kuly’s dad and sung by Kuly’s brothers along with a verse sung by their father. The music and production of the track was composed by Kuly last year. Besides this, Urban Bhangra singer Nindy Kaur will release a track featuring Kuly’s vocals and a hook line produced for her by the artist before he passed away.
