How does it feel to win the title?

I am very happy that I successfully managed to overcome all the challenges during the journey and have finally won the contest. My hard work has paid off. I believe my journey has just begun and I have miles to go.

In what ways did being in Ranvijay's gang help you to win the show?

Ranvijay’s experience of 11 years proved beneficial for our gang. He is more of a brother than a mentor to me. His advices and tips helped me develop an increased understanding of the tasks, and my mental and physical strength buttressed by his inputs, led me to overcome new challenges at every level of my journey.

What was your biggest challenge in the journey?

There were quite a few of them. The first challenge when Amneet challenged me for a fight because he wanted to compete with the toughest contender. I am happy that he considered me as a tough competition. To be standing in shorts in the chilling sub-zero temperatures of Kathamandu was another big challenge. The final and the toughest challenge, however, was when I had to compete with my friend and brother Gurmeet (Singh Rehal) in the finale.

What was it like to be pitted against your friend in the finale?

My bond with Gurmeet is very strong since the beginning. I respect him a lot. We had decided at the beginning of the contest to never fight with each other and had promised to stand by each other whenever required. To be pitted against each other was the demand of the situation, and we both reacted to it with a sportsman spirit. We made the battle ground very difficult for each other, in the way it should be, but that doesn't mean we don’t share the same bond now. We are still very good friends and will always continue to be and cherish our friendship.

What winning strategies would you like to suggest for people aspiring for the next season?

The aspirants must be very strong, both mentally and physically, as the tasks demand these strengths the most. They must have the capability to fight and win. They must constantly keep reminding themselves their purpose of participating in the show, and should grow the madness and eagerness to achieve it.
