The Park's baked goodies find place on a special menu that can be ordered

Jungle Book cupcakes at The Park, Bangalore

Can you resist a parade of iced animal cupcakes — blue, yellow, orange and bite-sized bears and elephants — from the Jungle Book?

Playing on this weakness and a proven weakness in most people for anything sweet and baked, and dressed up to look smashing, is The Park's Bakery.

No, they didn't open any new shiny counter to prop up some tiered cakes in glass domes.

The Park Bakery has been a relatively well-kept secret of the few who regularly order from their menu of pastries, cheesecakes, frosted muffins, tarts, chocolates, and savouries. Now Chef Rajiv Vimal and team have created a special menu to showcase these confectionaries.

Whether it's the classic blueberry muffin doing its sweet-sour tango, or the petite black forest cup cake that gives you the best of creamy pastry and small portions, or the humble veg puff which turns gourmet with its stuffing here, or the dainty-looking butterfly muffin — you have a fitting variety on offer that looks as enticing as a fairyland, as it tastes.

Pastries and cup cakes start at about Rs. 175 a piece, muffins at about Rs. 125, cakes at about Rs. 950 a kg. They also have an egg-less/ flour, gluten-less/ sugar-free/ fat-free/ dairy-free limited menu of cakes for Rs. 1,500 a kg.
