With nearly two million users having experienced it in the first three months of its launch, Airtel Blog is currently the world's fastest growing voice-oriented social networking service. With this, Airtel has brought the power of social networking on voice to its mobile customers – where they can share recorded voice updates with their followers — fans, friends or family.
Celebrities across India, are already building their voice-blog follower base including, but not limited to Amitabh Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Lara Dutta, Neetu Chandra, VJ Ranvijay and Sonu Nigam. They are using their Airtel Blog to share voice updates to reach out to their fans, who receive SMS updates of the posts. Fans can then dial-in at their convenience to listen to the voice blog.

When status updates are recorded, followers will receive free SMS notifications, and will be prompted to dial *2* to listen to the updates in their Airtel Blog inbox.
