Stand up artist Kapil Sharma is in news for wrong reasons. Yash Raj banner has parted ways with him before the start of his acting career and he has got into an ugly spat with Kamal Rashid Khan over Twitter.

“Well it is a mutual decision taken by both of us, neither Yashraj kicked me out nor did I leave the movie. Just because of my busy schedule I was unable to manage the time. My show is running with a good TRP and my fans on the social media advised me not to leave the show in between. I love my audience and I don’t want to break their hearts,” clarified Kapil, who was in the city to perform for Red FM.

On the controversy with KRK, Kapil called it publicity stunt generated by Khan. “I don’t know this man, who is he? Definitely, it was a publicity stunt; because of it people have begun to enquire about him.”

Kapil’s has been pulling the leg of film stars for a long time but somehow he has spared the politicians. “Yes, we must show another part of the life of these politicians. I contacted Lalu Prasad Yadav to come on the show but he was busy in his election campaigns. In future you will definitely see some politicians on the show,” he promised.

Thanking Delhiites for responding to his humour, Kapil said comedy is serious business. “It’s not like writing dramatic dialogues. We have to assume and write dialogues full of emotion and entertainment, week after week.”
