Mixing it up: Varun Mitra.

A face seen endorsing brands like Samsung, Nissan Sunny Car, Raymonds, Tommy Hilfiger 2012, Lamborghini 2012, besides of course spotted on ramps like the Wills India Fashion Week, Varun doesn’t find it difficult to strike a balance between fitness and the fashion world. “It is not at all pressurising for me, it just becomes a part of your life,” he says.

Varun, who is now seen in a new avatar as a TV host, believes that everyone has his/her own fitness regime according to thebody type. “Every body is different, so there is a different workout routine for everyone,” he says. Varun’s show Fearless — Friends Karenge Fear Ka The End aired on Bindass, motivates people to take the challenge of facing their deepest fears with the help of their best friends. “Someone referred my name to the Bindass team; they got in touch with me. I met the whole team and came to know about the format of the show. Fortunately, it all worked out well,” he says.

Getting back to talking fitness, he refers to his fitness schedule as “mixed-up.”

Varun believes that any form of exercise can be a stress-buster for him but for the present, it is swimming. “Swimming is the best stress buster for me, as of now.” He is lactose intolerant, so food like cheese is a big no for him. Although Varun does not follow a particular diet plan, he avoids fried food.
