A holistic affair: Debina Bonnerji.

The actorshows extreme enthusiasm when it comes to staying fit. Even with her frenzied schedule of day long shoot, she manages to workout even on a ‘lazy day’. She underscores the fact that gymming does not merely mean working out. For her fitness is 70 per cent diet and 30 per cent working out.

Excited about her role as Mayuri Narayan in the ongoing comedy show Chidiya Ghar aired on SAB TV, she says, “Just like my character, I love dancing. Mayuri can dance at the drop of a hat.” The dancing required in the serial, the actor reveals, is another addition to her fitness regime.

Affirmative about yoga, she says that it helps one to “heal up, stay fit and sharpen concentration levels”. Running too is an integral part of her regimen. All these things in addition to a balanced diet is what works for Debina. “One should not give up so much on food that it gets difficult to get back to normal,” she explains.
