Called a thinking actor and having been often hailed for her sensuality, Chitrangada Singh is surprisingly, not a fitness freak. The actor who debuted with Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, says she follows a healthy diet that is high on proteins and low on carbohydrates but doesn’t hit the gym every now and then. She gives all credit for her toned body to kickboxing. Chitrangada doesn’t do much of cardio but follows strength training. As compared to her modelling days, she feels that her core strength is much better now. “Follow any kind of a workout regimen as long as it helps you sweat and regulates your heartbeat,” says the lanky actor.
She indulges in junk food at times but then balances it out. “I love gobi ka paranthas and mango shake and if I have that then I try to lighten my other meals and work out more to balance the extra calorie intake,” says Chitrangada, who has featured in films such as Ye Saali Zindagi , Desi Boyz , Inkaar and I Me Aur Main .
She also emphasises a healthy lifestyle which includes not just exercising but sleeping at the right time, eating proper meals on time and getting adequate rest.

She also mentions there are a few ‘must do’ things for maintaining beautiful and lustrous hair. “Coconut oil is a must for your hair as it penetrates the scalp and hydrates it.
