The Trousseau Week 2011, a wedding show that promises to turn your dream wedding into reality has kicked off in the city. The Collection, UB City, in association with AUDI, the German luxury carmaker, presents the ongoing Trousseau Week 2011 that will be on till October 2 at the UB City.

From trousseau and bridal-wear, jewellery and décor, to specialised wedding services, it's a one-stop shop for wedding essentials, with international brands, designers, jewellers, décor planners, wedding card designers, photographers and entertainment companies who will showcase their work.

Personalised shoppers, mehendi artists, cake-tasting sessions are also part of the event. There will be special promotions during the four days with packages and discounts.

DivyaVithika wedding planners will conduct a series of interactive workshops every day from September 29 to October 2, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on subjects ranging from bridal make-up, wedding photography, diet and nutrition, skin care, décor ideas, gifting ideas, honeymoon destinations, trousseau packaging and other elements.

The planners will also conduct sessions on current wedding trends and provide tips and insights to help couples and their families plan their wedding.

“In India, a wedding is definitely a most anticipated event and Trousseau Week hopes to help make the event more special and complete,” says Uzma Irfan, Director Corporate Communications, Prestige Group.

Brands like Kimaya, Minawala, Paul Smith, Canali, Etro, Amrapali and Estee Lauder will showcase their latest collections for the wedding season. Bangalores' own Deepika Govind will also showcase her trousseau collection.
