Apply a primer first, it will help the make-up stay on and control sweat. Use a light oil-free moisturiser. Make sure to use a sun protection cream or lotion. Most new blemish balm (BB) creams have a built-in SPF. It hydrates your skin like a moisturiser, smoothens it like a primer, covers it like a foundation, and blurs flaws like a concealer, plus offers sun protection! Use a water-proof mascara. Carry blot powders with you instead of using regular powder.

How do you keep your make-up from running?

Make sure your mascara is waterproof and carry blot papers. The most important thing is to make sure that you do not wear too much make-up. Less is more in summer. Keep the foundation light and go with a bright lip colour or a fabulous stain on the lips.

How can we protect our skin from the harsh sun?

Sunscreen is the only way to protect your skin from the sun. The other way is to wear a hat. I would also suggest regular exfoliation and using an oil-free sunscreen.

What are the make-up trends for the season?

This summer is all about raw beauty and enhancing your lips. Playing with lip textures such as matte, satin and stains is the way to go

Colours for the summer…

Peach and berries.

Make-up at the beach — a yes or no?

Yes! I would suggest a BB cream to even out the skin and add protection. Bronzer on the cheeks and a lip stain.
