The latest to join the bandwagon in our city is Kerastase Paris, a subdivision of the French brand L'Oreal. It was launched at Studio Profile salon in Nungambakkam recently. The products under the label range from nourishing hair masks to leave-in night conditioners.
As for the services, Kerastase specialises in therapeutic head massages. And, you can take your pick from one of the 17 ‘rituals'.

Each ‘ritual' is an hour-long, multi-step process. To begin with, the customer's hair and scalp types are diagnosed using a magnifying camera that highlights the details and flaws.
The customer is then prescribed a spa service that includes multiple massages, a fortifying hair mask, a micro-mist, and products to nourish and hydrate hair cortices.
And, oh, here's why they call the entire process a ‘ritual' — Kerastase believes its service are a regular exercise rather than a one-time fix-all!
