The Consulate-General of Japan at Chennai, and Abk-Aots Dosokai, Tamil Nadu Centre organises a three-day Japan Cultural Festival. The festival will feature exhibitions of dolls, dioramas (miniature models) of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Japan, ikebana, Nendo No Tetsukuri (clay craft), origami and bonsai. The Nendo No Tetsukuri demonstration will be held at 11 a.m. on March 22; origami at 3 p.m. on March 22 and 11 a.m. on March 23; judo at 2 p.m. on March 23; karate at 4 p.m. on March 23; kobudo at 5 p.m. on March 23; and bonsai demonstration at 11 a.m. on March 24.
Entry is free. The exhibition will be held from March 22 to 24 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Abk-Aots Dosokai, Tamil Nadu Centre, Third Floor, Chateau D’ Ampa, No. 37 (110), Nelson Manickam Road, Aminjikarai.
