Platinum seems to be the rage when it comes to jewellery, what with both men and women looking to sport an impressive piece.
And, the metal gets a new twist in the hands of NAC Jewellers, Mylapore. They have launched the Navaratna Platinum Collection.
Coming as it does just in time for Akshaya Thrithiya, the collection is said to represent the coming together of nine planets.

The range comprises rings, pendants, studs and bracelets.
The collection was launched by actor-producer Rohini. She described platinum as simple and dignified, and believed that combining these nine gems could provide prosperity.
Customers can get a discount of five per cent on the collection. For Akshaya Thrithiya last year, NAC had introduced platinum coins.
