Course for two days on The Secret Of The Brain

Label by Ritu Kumar presents Ten, an art exhibition of self-portraits by Prarthna Singh

Hayagriva Study Circle announces its 50th course The Secrets Of The Brain . The course will explore with basic neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, the dualism and the unity of the way the brain works, understanding more about the limbic system or the emotional brain, tips to improve the mind-brain-body-immune system link to enable healing and health. The workshop will comprise lectures, interactive exercises, and self evaluations.

Prithika Chary, neurologist, neurosurgeon will be the faculty. The course will be held on October 13 (2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and October 14 (from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.) at The Gandhinagar Club, 4th Main Road, Gandhinagar, Adyar. The course fee is Rs. 2,000.

EXHIBITION Of photographs of women in a designer label

Label by Ritu Kumar presents Ten, an art exhibition of self-portraits by Prarthna Singh on October 10, 11 and 12. Prarthna’s photographs are said to be an ode to the different faces of the Indian woman. In this exhibition, as many as 10 women derive a signature look from a combination of Label garments. The exhibition will be held at the Ritu Kumar store at No. 4/22, Rutland Gate, 4th Street, Nungambakkam. For details, call 280833 / 34.
