If ambience is your lone criteria while choosing a place to eat out, Peking restaurant in Kamanahalli may not make the cut. However, if it is good food and service that you seek, Peking would be the place to be. Offering a range of food items, ranging from rare steaks to fairly authentic Chinese dishes. We start our meal with portions of the tangy Chinese fried chicken and soft and warm chicken momos. Both the dishes are cooked to perfection.

The chicken offers a melange of flavours, with a hint of tanginess. The momos are delightful, especially when served with the superb peanut and chilli sauce on offer. The chicken is cooked well, and the outer covering is soft and makes it an excellent starter. We also binge on the meat filled mixed spring roll, which is meaty and can act as meal in itself. If soups are what kick starts your meal, ask for a portion of the steamy noodle soup. It is full of vegetables and noodles and reminds you of the steamy dish that was one of highlights of Kung Fu Panda. The spicy barbeque ribs are also a must try.

In the main course, we belt the superb Hakka noodles. Served with a tossing of sautéed vegetables and meats of your choice, the Hakka noodles tasted heavenly. It is not very heavily flavoured, the veggies and meats are cooked to perfection and with a helping of the sauces on offer, the Hakka noodles are the signature dish of the restaurant. The steamed rice and vegetables combination is a filling meal for someone looking for a healthy option. We also sample portions of the excellent steaks and sizzlers, served piping hot and enjoy it tremendously.

We finish the meal with a fortune cookie and a portion of vanilla ice-cream, both complimentary offerings.
