D4Delivery’s new service Live2Eat, launched in Technopark, offers a one-stop solution for a healthy lunch.

Lunch is often a problem for many office-goers in the capital city who rely on eateries outside for their daily meals. Due to lack of time and the unavailability of quality restaurants nearby, many find it difficult to have dishes of their choice for lunch. ‘Live2Eat’ is a recently-launched service from D4Delivery Retail that tries to find a solution to this problem. Through the service, which is currently available in Technopark, customers can choose from a host of quality dishes handpicked from different restaurants, and order them online through its website or a dedicated mobile application.

“Having been working in food delivery services in the city for nearly a year now, we were able to gather a lot of insights regarding food habits of different people. In a place like Technopark, nearly 15 to 20 per cent of employees hail from different parts of the country – many of whom find it difficult to have cuisines of their choice for lunch,” explains Abiram Suresh, one of the founders of Live2Eat.

“Also, a fair share of employees who rely on eateries outside for lunch find themselves dissatisfied with the variety and quality of food. These factors prompted us to launch Live2Eat,” says Abiram.

An USP of the service is that there is no delivery charge. “Besides, our menu is refreshed every day to bring in variety to our customers. We offer 15 – 20 different dishes each day, which will be alternated during different days of the week. The dishes, which are moderately priced (Rs 30 to Rs 190 per dish), are segregated into ‘spicy’, ‘non spicy’, ‘vegetarian’ and ‘non vegetarian’ categories,” explains co-founder Mrinal M.

Customers can order food between 3 p.m. on the previous day till 10 a.m. on the day of delivery. The packages can be picked up from specific locations on campus between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

“One of our main motivations in starting Live2Eat is to promote healthy eating. Currently, we specify ingredients of the dishes we offer. We plan to take it to the next level by introducing dietary prescriptions for each dish,” says Mrinal. Contact: 0471-6004600 or visit their website www.live2eat.in
