Christmas comes in early at Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum. It is celebrating Christmas with a number of events on December 1 .
First up is a cookery workshop. The workshop, which is from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, introduces participants to a variety of French Christmas cookies and aperitifs. Seats are limited and entry is by registration. Registration closes on November 30.
At 3 p.m., the students celebrate with a fun-filled party. Quiz, games and the traditional French Christmas dessert, the Yule Log, are some of the highlights of the fete.

The celebration concludes with a screening of a French film
Memory Lane, directed by Mikhaël Hers, at 5.30 p.m.
