When an MBA with a regular banker's job gets tired of the routine, he feels it is time to sit back and do some soul searching. “At 35, I was beginning to get comfortable with my job and I was not pleased with myself with the feeling,” says novelist Harimohan Paruvu.
He quit his cushy job and began to focus towards an unseen journey, “my idea was to take up fiction writing, but realised fiction will take a long way to go in our country. Until I was ready with my first book The Men Within which is India's first cricket novel in English, I was keeping myself busy with content writing and copy editing,” he recollects.

The book,
Once a cricketer who played the Ranji player he still cherishes being a member of the Hyderabad cricket team during 1985-87 which won the Ranji Trophy. He loves recollecting the thoughts of being a member of the Osmania University team which won the South Zone Universities Championships in 1991, as being a member South Zone Universities team which won the Vizzy Trophy in 1991 and being skipper of the Marredpally Cricket Club which won the HCA Sunday league championship in 1993 and 1997. “But I realised I was not a focussed player. I played cricket because I liked playing cricket and never paid the kind of attention I should have to training myself,” he says.
Harimohan's first book which was about cricket will now be made into a movie and Harimohan is very excited about it, “I expected the book to do very well, but it didn't. I have sold the rights to a production house and the movie work should begin soon.”

During his leisure time Harimohan loves to spend time with his family and also does a lot of reading. He will soon begin work on his next book.
