Runtastic Six-Pack Abs

So many of us want that six-pack. I’m talking abs, get your mind off Friday night. With Summer a few months away, this is a great app to help you get in shape enough to flaunt one. Ladies, I’m talking to you too.

The app has more than 50 tutorial videos in HD, not to mention two avatar-like trainers, and helps you customise workouts for your body type. There is a complete10-week six-pack plan, pre-defined plans like Six-Pack Junkie, Insanity, Shape Up, The 7-Minute Workout, and the option to create a personalised workout that is ‘tailored to your core, weight loss goals & daily schedule’. One huge plus point is that you do not need any gym equipment – work out at home or in the office when you have a bit of free time to kill.

Your personal trainer avatars will guide you as to the precise way to perform those crunches, curls and push-ups, while breaking down the movements, so you know which muscles are being targeted.

The exercises include classic sit-ups, cross-body crunches, oblique crunches, planks, mountain climbers, hip drops, leg raises, core twists, side bridges, and a lot more.

The app also includes about 50-odd ‘Tip of the Day’ messages to help keep you motivated.

The app is available for iOS and Android.
