Ever tried your hand at Kalamkari? Dabble in nature’s colours, dye your clothes in exotic shades, and delve into the art.

Stories painted in Kalamkari style on cloth panels were hung in temples as far back as two centuries ago for visitors to understand stories of deities.

To dye for

Collect a large quantity of onion peel.

Boil them till it becomes pink.

Strain the solution.

Soak a piece of cloth -

a dupatta or a

scarf overnight.

Rinse in cold water.

It is now a beautiful shade of pink.
