On the Yeti's Trail, thus caters to that atom of adventure within us. Mushtaq studies in Srinagar and during the vacation he goes home to his village in the Himalayas. He loves the life he leads in the mountains, helping his mother and roaming the forests. One day, while in the forest collecting fire wood he meets the Yeti. The meeting is not pleasant but it creates in him an urge to find out more about the creature.
He decides to learn more about the Yeti from his Panditji in Srinagar and also tell his friend Niaz about his sighting. The visit to Panditji proves beneficial as he is able to tell them a lot and also introduce them to his friend Dr. Riaz Aziz, an environmental scientist.

They learn many things from Dr. Riaz Aziz and return to Srinagar and decide to pursue the quest to find the Yeti. Accompanied by Mushtaq's cousin Sakina they brave it into the forest.

This novelette is easy to read and the sequence of events moves quickly leaving no time for boredom. The quest is on and action moves from chapter to chapter leaving the reader breathless having moved at such an exciting pace.
