Friday Review November Fest: Varied influences such as Steve Reich, Philip Glass, The Necks, and more are explored by Plaistow and comes to Hyderabad on November 23

Plaistow brings a classical trio line-up of piano, bass, drums, which is revisited from top to bottom, free from any stylistic constraint. The band’s music is entirely acoustic and is constantly evolving.

The concert will last around one hour and 15 minutes.

About the group:

Formed in 2007 in Geneva, Plaistow – the band’s name was inspired by a composition of the artiste Squarepusher – has since given more than a hundred concerts (in Switzerland, France, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany, Morocco, Middle East and more) and launched their eighth record in April 2013.

After a long collaboration with various net labels, primarily Insubordinations, the last album, Citadelle , was released in 2013.
