About launching her album at this forum, Shilpa says, “More than launching an album, the bigger initiative is that this is being done live. It’s my, along with my band’s, interpretation of five songs — a mix of music; one is stripped down to the guitarist, one, a full band song. While I have composed two songs, two are inspired by folk music and ‘Challa’ is my version. My attempt is honest and through this I’m trying to reach out to my fans.”
