Recitals of artists from different parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry took place during the week-long festival at Rasika Ranjana Sabha, Tiruchi.

The Rasika Ranjana Sabha, Tiruchi, organised a week-long music and dance programmes at the FGN Hall, of the Sabha, recently.

Archana and Arthi of Chennai presented vocal concert on the inaugural day. They were ably accompanied by Balambal on the violin and V. Prasanna Karthikeyan on the mridangam.

The Bharatanatyam performance by Kalpana Sivaramakrishnan troupe of Chennai was the highlight of the second day’s programme. Vanditha Mohan’s troupe from Chennai and R. Krithika’s team from Puducherry presented Bharatanatyam performances on the next two days.

Nagaswaram concert by K. Silambarasan of Tirukovilur in Cuddalore district was the penultimate day’s programme. The music festival concluded with a saxophone concert by M. Raju of Coimbatore.
