Rock band Pink Floyd has signed a new record deal with EMI, just weeks after winning a long-running court battle against them.
The psychedelic rock group inked the deal with the label, after settling a huge legal dispute dealing with music distribution and putting an end to their album songs being sold individually, including MP3 downloads or ringtones, Contactmusic reported.
Despite this and previous reports of outstanding royalties owed to the band, the ‘Money’ rockers have signed a new five-year deal with the company they are associated with since 1967.

“All legal disputes between the band and the company have been settled as a result of this new deal,” an EMI source said. “I know I speak for everyone at EMI when I say that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with them,” EMI chief executive Roger Faxon added.
Meanwhile, the band’s former bassist, Roger Waters has already announced plans to release a live DVD version of his The Wall Live show witnessing him recreate the band’s classic 1979 album.
Although no official confirmation has been made, the singer issued a statement saying he will be filming the London shows in the series scheduled for May.
