Classic Hymns, that produced ‘Ancient of Days' and ‘Lead kindly Light,' is releasing the third album ‘Old Rugged Cross.' The CD contains hymns sung by 250 voices belonging to 14 choirs from Chennai and six groups.
The 16 hymns are all based on the theme of the Cross to fit the season of Easter. The album features Mahatma Gandhi's favourite hymn, ‘When I survey the wondrous Cross.'
‘Old Rugged Cross' will be released on Sunday, April 24, at the Emmanuel Methodist Church (EMC) Vepery.

The EMC choir, which is part of Classic Hymns will be presenting Passion Cantata, ‘Out of the Shadow' by John Purifoy.
