Narada Gana Sabha and Natya Sankalpaa (Ph:044- 4354 8028) present Narada Natya Vizha, a five-day dance fest, from January 19 to 23, at Narada Gana Sabha, TTK Rd., Alwarpet. The chief guests include eminent personalities, such as Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, Dr. Chitra Visweswaran, Leela Samson, Sudha Ragunathan, and Mrs. Y.G.Parthasarathy, beside other special guests.
The series opens with Shankar Kandaswamy's performance. Kandaswamy is from the Temple of Fine Arts, Malaysia.
The other highlights are Shobana and her Kalarpana group's ‘Bharatanatyam – the Classical and the Classic' (Jan 22), and a presentation by Urmila Sathyanarayanan and her Natya Sankalpaa, ‘Panchali Sabatham' (Jan 23).
