Pledge A Book is a social initiative, part of the Shaastra tech fest, managed by a group of students from IIT Madras who believe in spreading the power of learning. They do this by collecting books — children’s books, engineering books or regional language books — and donating them to the underprivileged sections of society.
So far, they have sourced over 5,000 books and are looking for more book donors. You can support the campaign at #pledgeabook.
