Before coming to NZ, I had completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Bangalore, India, and was inspired to pursue a career further in Food Technology. With a lot of research I found Massey University to be the best among all the universities with regard to infrastructure and the food technology facilities it provides.

I admire the hands-on approach of the Food Technology course as it has taken my learning beyond books. I have learnt how to apply my theory-based knowledge in real situations. Working in teams has enhanced my confidence level.

I feel the faculty is dedicated to students and the staff show a genuine concern for all our needs. I love the environment of the university and the location, and Palmerston North has a beautiful campus. The experience here has widened my horizons and really challenged my views about the way I look at things. I am now thinking from a different perspective.

My advice to prospective students is that, when you join Massey University, don’t be afraid to venture out of your comfort zone and do activities you have never done before.
