Admission date for 28 PG courses extended

The University of Madras has extended the date of admission for 28 PG courses up to July 15.

Entrance examinations will not be conducted and students can meet the Head of Department concerned with certificates (mark sheets up to fifth semester or sixth semester) and get provisional selection card on the spot, a release stated.

The courses are: M.A – Ancient History & Archaeology, Anthropology, Arabic, Bharatanatyam, Christian Studies, Continuing Education and Management, Defence & Strategic studies, Econometrics, French, Hindi, Indian Music, Indian Philosophy, Islamic studies, Jainology, Kannada, Malayalam, Political Science, Public Administration (Tamil medium), Public Affairs, Rhythmology, Saiva Siddhantha, Sanskrit, Sociology, Telugu, Urdu and Vaishnavism. M.Sc – Library and Information Science, Photonics and Bio-Photonics.

Application and prospectus can be obtained in person from the Information Centre, University of Madras, or downloaded from the University of Madras website: http://www.unom.ac.in, the release said.
