College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai is all set to host the sixth edition of its annual International Techno-management festival ‘Kurukshetra' from February 1 to 4, 2012.

Workshops, a staple feature of Kurukshetra, enable the students to experience engineering in various dimensions. The IBM-conducted workshop Big Data Analysis will demonstrate the versatility and management of data in bulk.

A simpler, fun filled robotics workshop — Autobotics, an intelligent, autonomous, microcontroller-based multiple sensor robots is for all bot lovers. Astrophotography, the first ever night workshop is for all those who marvel the surrealism about the night sky and yearn to see through the blue canopy.

The workshop at Kurukshetra this year will celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship — the one that makes one embark on an adventure akin to cruising on the high seas. The Krithi workshop will teach school students to build their own ornithopter, the ancestor of today's aircraft.

The techno-management extravaganza has an array of online events that attracts participators from more than 80 countries worldwide. XCEED, the Nationwide Robotics, Quizzing and Coding championship is Kurukshetra's marquee event and this year it is conducted in major cities across the country.

It is a combo event where the bots clash against each other, codes will be cracked and the business acumen of the student will be tested.
