India’s World Cup dream may have ended on a disappointing note but IPL can bolster the spirits of cricket fans. As a tribute to their favourite team Chennai Super Kings, R. Kumar Narayanan and Harish Govindarajan, residents of Nungambakkam and West Mambalam respectively, have come up with their second album, ‘Roar for CSK’, under the banner Saintunes.

“We are ardent fans of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and our team Chennai Super Kings. The song attempts to bring out the essence of cricket and its lovers. We are fanatic about our support to the captain and it is our tribute to him. The beats of the song are based on the tap-to-rhythm type. This track has unconventional instrumental interludes and is metrical in nature,” says R. Kumar Narayanan founder of Saintunes, who has composed and directed the album.

Their first album for CSK was ‘Dho Dho Dhoni,’ which was launched in 2014 ahead of IPL.
