Dracula in Tamil

Love Dracula stories? Well, you’ll soon have one in Tamil! Director Vinayan (of Vikram-starrer Kasi fame) was in Romania recently, and was completely taken in with the legend of the Dracula surrounding the Bran Castle in Transylvania — so much so he’s planned Naangam Pirai in four languages (Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and English). Says the director: “The people around the palace actually worship Dracula! I’m planning to start the shoot at Bran Castle.” Naangam Pirai will be in 3D and be based on the original horror story written by Bram Stoker. Produced by Sreeraj for Sudha Screens, the film will rope in Hollywood technicians.
