Flipping the pages of success

The makers of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom celebrated its 50-day run in theatres recently. At a felicitation event organised in the city, the producers JSK Films decided to do something different. Instead of the usual practice of honouring the cast and crew, they went a step further and felicitated filmmakers whose work made a mark in 2012. They included Pa. Ranjith ( Attakathi ), Thangasamy ( Raatinam ), Lakshmi Ramakrishnan ( Arohanam ) and Anbazhagan ( Saatai ). NKPK by director Balaji Tharaneetharan was a rib-tickling entertainer that proved to be a surprise package last year.
