Katrina gets tattooed

Nowadays you're either inked or you're not. The list of Bollywood celebs with tattoos is growing longer than Saif's arm which has Kareena tattooed on it. Keeping Saif company are Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Deepika Padukone.

When we met Katrina Kaif recently, we spotted a tattoo on her right shoulder, so we couldn't resist asking her what it was all about. Katrina tried to avoid the question a couple of times but finally gave in, saying, “It is only for a film.”

Fascinated by female gangsters

Rani Mukherjee has regained her spunk after playing a feisty journalist in

No One Killed Jessica . The actor recently graced the launch of author Hussain Zaidi's ‘Mafia Queens Of Mumbai', a collection of non-fiction short stories based on female gangsters in the city. Palpably fascinated with the subject, Rani says, “It's interesting to read stories which are real and know what happens in the heart of our city. We get the opportunity to understand what the underbelly is all about.”

Zaidi said that Rani fit the bill when it came to portraying onscreen two of the women from his collection — Jinabai Daruwali and Gangubai. He opined: “Rani has been around for a decade or so, and for Jinabai and Gangubai, we need a seasoned actor who can carry off that role with aplomb. Rani has that maturity.”

Ask Rani if she would like to be a female gangster, and she laughs, “One aspect that has always intrigued me is to know what made them into gangsters because at the end of the day, they are women.”

Doing a Popeye

Emraan Hashmi claims not to be a foodie but the actor does have a favourite dish. The Murder 2 actor says, “I have to have palak paneer with my meal at least once a day. I have been having the dish for almost every day since the last three years.”

This monodiet makes our eyes pop, but I guess Popeye is obviously not the only one who loves spinach.

Kalaakar of a different kind

Considering he's playing an artist in Rajshri's Luv You Mr Kalakaar , we asked Tusshar Kapoor if he had ever been fond of any other art form besides acting.

Tusshar admits candidly: “We had drawing in school, but I was never good at sketching, art, craft and all. What I was good at was elocution and debates. I thought business and numbers were something I would enjoy, so I went abroad to get closer to the corporate world. But after going abroad, I hated the corporate world — I worked for a year but didn't fit in. Acting is my forte.”
