“In addition, I’m also doing Raj Mohan’s

Rukkumani Vandi Varuthu , in which I do a lot of comedy with actor Atharvaa. I am also looking forward to playing a comedian in director Senthil Velan’s untitled film,” says Kishan, who also has M. Chandrasekaran’s Velayadava and Sugan’s Kaatrulla Pothe Thootrikkol.

Derma...and cinema

Sethuraman, a cosmetologist by profession, made his acting debut in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya , but has since travelled to Singapore to complete his course in cosmetic dermatology. Is it curtains then for his acting career? “No!” he says, and brings our attention to his upcoming film, Vaaliba Raja , in which he plays a fashion designer who, having failed in love, seeks treatment from a psychiatrist (played by Santhanam). “I’m trying to balance both careers,” he says.

In search of a hit

Bharath has finished shooting for Ennodu Vilayadu and has moved on to his next film, Simba . “In contrast to the happy-go-lucky character I play in Ennodu Vilayadu , Simba is about a character who acquires extra-sensory ability through some negative experiences. Directed by Aravind Sridhar, the film also stars Premgi Amaren. I am also simultaneously doing a Malayalam film about deforestation called Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi,” says Bharath, who’s looking for that elusive hit.
