What it is about…

Triple V Records’ Yennamo Nadakkudhu is produced by V. Vinoth Kumar and directed by P. Rajapandi. The cast includes Vijay Vasanth, Mahima, Prabhu, Rehaman, Thambi Ramaiah, Saranya Ponvannan and Sukanya. As for the story, an innocent youth undertakes an assignment to help his lover. But only after executing it, does he realise that there is something fishy about it. Soon he finds himself being chased by two gangsters. Does he escape? What happens to his lady love? Yennamo Nadakkudhu packs in quite a few surprises.

The audio of the film was unveiled by director Bharathiraja and received by director Balu Mahendra. At the audio release function, directors and producers who made their debut this year were honoured. They included directors Atlee (

Music highlights

There are five songs, each so different from the other. Mano joins L. R. Easwari to render ‘Vaa Idhu Nethiyadi Than,’ one of the best numbers in the album, and it’s written by Gangai Amaren. Two songs are written by Yugabharathi and both are striking — ‘Orakanna Saachu Nee’ sung by Haricharan and ‘Money Money’ sung by Ranjith and Premgi Amaren. Another song that lingers long after you listen to it is ‘Aahayam Vizhgirathe’; written by Kutti Revathi, it is sung by the music director. Meesa Kokkuthan in the voices of Vijay Yesudas, Saindhavi and Saranya Ponvannan, written by Viveka, is sure to hook the audience.

Producer V. Vinoth Kumar: When director Rajapandi was doing an advertisement film for our Vasanth & Co, I realised he had a lot of potential and asked him to do a feature film, to which he readily agreed.

Director Rajapandi: I have made several TV commercials, advertisement films, shorts and teleserials. When I met producer Vinoth Kumar, he asked me to come up with a story idea which I did. And the result is this film.

Actor Vijay Vasanth:Yennamo Nadakkudhu is my ninth venture. I have earlier acted in Nadodikal, Mangatha and Nanban . When I heard this gripping story, I felt this film would certainly take me to the next level.

Music director Premgi Amaren: So far, I have scored the music for five movies. When producer Vinoth Kumar met me at a party, he told me that he was turning producer and wanted me to do the music for his movie. When I heard the story I was keen to take it up. As an artist, I have made a name for myself. But I want to show my talent in the field of music.
