There are six numbers in the album and the best one is ‘Ennadi Ennadi Oviyame’ sung by Tippu and Vishal. ‘Aasa Vecha Manasula’ follows in the voices of Tippu, Haricharan, Priya Hemesh, Abirami, Priyadarshini and Velmurugan. ‘Yela Mala Thoppa’ is sung beautifully by Anuradha Sriram and Velmurugan, while ‘Unna Paakama’ sung by Haricharan, Abirami and Cicily is good. The other two numbers, ‘Athili Puthili’ sung by a group of singers K. Lakshman, Aravindh, Rishi, Haresh, Iswarya and Aswitha, and ‘Aatho Apattho’ sung by Bhoopalam Bragadeesh and Senthil, are equally enjoyable.

What they say…

Producer K. Murugan: I started as an assistant director to “Billa” Krishnamoorthy and worked on actor K. Balaji’s productions for nearly 10 years. I produced films from 1996 and this is my fifth production. I was also an executive producer for about five films.

Director Karu. Pazhaniappan: This is my sixth film and it deals with seven different characters that travel on a bus; all of them have equally important roles. The story unfolds on their journey. It would be a novel experience for viewers to watch a film of this nature.

Hero Vemal: I am happy to share screen space with Parthiban, Santhana Bharathi and Rajesh. The location where we shot looked like a picnic spot. I play the conductor, while Parthiban is the driver. I wanted to work in an offbeat film, with interesting twists and turns and this film presented me with the right opportunity. The director has changed some portions of the original Malayalam hit Ordinary to suit the Tamil audience.

Music director Vidyasagar: I like doing the score for Karu. Pazhaniappan, as he gives me challenging situations and also believes that music helps take a film forward. All his films are different from one another. He has given me a free hand in Jannal Oram and the music has come out well.
